This is the thirteenth issue of the "Compendium of Textile Statistics" containing data upto the financial year 2003-2004. This publication contains the data of domestic textile industry. The coverage of the publications has been further enlarged this year by the addition of more tables relating to Technical textiles and cotton Ginning & Pressing Factories. The current issue of this compendium contains a brief review of the textile industry during the last decade. The review brings out the growth and performance of the various sectors of the textile industry.
